Japanese sweet potato bread is a yummy dish that we can easily make for a dessert or a snack. Moreover, we can prepare these loaves of bread for our breakfast as they provide many nutrients. Furthermore, these loaves of bread are not so sweet, suitable for those who want to keep weight.

In a large bowl, mix 180 grams of wheat flour, 2 grams of salt, 15 grams of white sugar, 3 grams of baking powder, 5 grams of powdered milk, 40 grams of green tea powder, and 100 milliliters of water well. Then, add butter and knead the dough to make it smooth and soft. Wrap the bowl with food wrapper.


Meanwhile, cook purple sweet potatoes and then grind them finely. After that, divide the dough into 7 parts and roll them into balls. Squeeze these balls gently and then add the ground sweet potato in the middle of each ball and roll it.


Spread the parchment paper onto the baking tray. Then, put these balls on the tray and let them rest for 30 minutes. Next, sprinkle black sesame on these balls.


Put another parchment paper onto these balls and put another baking tray on this paper to squeeze these balls. Put the whole baking tray in the oven to bake at 185 degrees Celsius in 20 minutes.


Take them out and enjoy.
