400 grams wheat flour
170 grams peanut butter
1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
¾ of a teaspoon clove powder
½ of a teaspoon salt
170 milliliters corn syrup

1 chicken egg

How to make gingerbread cookies supply us the easy way to make yummy cookies for Christmas. Also, Christmas is coming; hence, they are very suitable for such an occasion. Sieve the wheat flour into a large bowl. Then add cinnamon powder, ginger powder, clove powder, nutmeg, and salt into the bowl and mix them finely.


When peanut butter becomes soft, add it and dark sugar into the bowl and use the electric mixer to mix them until the mixture becomes soft and smooth.


Add a chicken egg, corn syrup, and vanilla into the bowl and continue to mix them. However, we can replace corn syrup with honey.


Next, add the mixture of wheat flour at step 1 into the bowl of the mixture at step 3 and knead. Knead continuously until it becomes a soft dough.


Divide the dough into 2 parts and use the food wrapper to cover them and let them at the cool compartment in the fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight.


After that, take them out and then roll them into 3-milliliter-thick layers. Next, use the molds with different shapes to press the dough to shape the cookies. Put the parchment paper onto the baking tray and place these shaped cookies onto the tray. Turn on the oven at 180 degrees Celsius and then put the baking tray in the oven to bake these cookies for 10 – 15 minutes.


After they are baked completely, let them cook in 5 minutes to make them crispy.


Make the mixture to decorate these cookies: add fresh milk into the bowl of powdered sugar and mix them finely until the mixture becomes relatively condensed. Finally, draw and thing we like on the surface of these cookies.
