300 grams pork sausage
1 carrot

3 Japanese curry balls

How to make curry Udon noodles is a new curry dish. In stead of using chicken, this recipe requires Udon noodles and other vegetables to make curry. It sounds strange but true. With this recipe, we can have the dish as a vegetarian dish at weekend. Let’s try!

Cut crab sticks into a half. Also, peel Allium Porum, carrot, and potatoes and then cut them into medium pieces. Next, slice sausage.


Cook Kombu leaf with water until the water boils. Then, turn down the fire and cook Kombu leaf in 10 more minutes. Add bonito to cook them in 10 more minutes. After that, add Mirin, soy sauce, and Hondashi powder and cook them with small fire until the broth boils.


Heat up cooking oil in a pot and then stir-fry galic and Allium Porum. Also, add sausage to stir-fry them finely. Then, add carrot and potatoes into the pan to stir-fry them thoroughly. Next, pour 3 small bowls of water and simmer them until the sauce boils.


When the sauce boils, add curry balls and the broth at step 2 to cook them well.


Use another pot to cook Udon noodles. When the water boils, take them out.


Place noodles into a bowl and then pour the broth at step 4 onto them. Finally, we have finished a delicious curry Japanese Udon noodles.
