Turmeric braised bacon is one of the familiar dishes in the Central of Vietnam. The combination of turmeric and bacon brings to the bacon a special taste. Moreover, the crispy bacon together with the bitterness of turmeric can make you feel out of the world at the very first bite. Try having it served with rice once, I believe that you will never forget its taste till the world ends.

Steps
| First, wash bacon and cut it into medium pieces. |
| Put the bacon pieces in a large bowl and add fish sauce, white sugar, pepper, and half of the mixture of chopped garlic, chili, and purple onion. Then marinate it in 20 minutes. |
| Heat up cooking oil in a pot and stir-fry the rest mixture of chopped garlic, chili, and purple onion. Then add the marinated bacon into the pot and stir quickly. |
| After 3 minutes, add turmeric powder and 1 tablespoon of fish sauce into the pot and continue to cook. |
| Take these bacon pieces out and your dish is ready. Don't forget to have them served with rice. |
