400 grams white tofu
2 tablespoons cooking oil
3 teaspoons roasted sesame
1 tablespoon cornstarch
10 grams chopped green onion
1/2 of a bowl soy sauce
1 tablespoon chili sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
10 grams chopped ginger
¼ of a bowl honey
2 teaspoons chopped garlic

Tofu with garlic and honey sauce is a vegetarian wonder for anyone still being on the fence about tofu. Well, we say be tofu-brave, you will love how this seemingly bland ingredient can absorb so much flavor and aroma. With a subtle sweet touch of honey, this dish can attract the pickiest eaters.



Make the sauce: mix soy sauce, 2 teaspoons of roasted sesame, and chili sauce well.
Dice tofu into medium squares, marinate them with this sauce, then place it in the fridge at the cooler in 15 minutes.


Make the garlic and honey sauce: Mix ingredients including lemon juice, honey, chopped garlic, chopped ginger, soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of roasted sesame, and sesame oil finely and set it aside. Next, take the tofu out and sprinkle cornstarch evenly on the tofu.


Heat up cooking oil in a pan and fry the tofu until their color turns brown-yellow.
Then, pour the garlic and honey sauce into the pan and simmer them until the sauce becomes relatively condensed. Turn off the gas stove.


Take the tofu out and pour the sauce onto them.
