10 fresh shrimps
1 onion
¼ of a teaspoon pepper

250 grams cabbage

10 grams green onion

120 milliliters chicken broth

Shrimps with cabbage and onion is a great combination of shrimps, crispy taste of cabbage, and fragrant savor of onion. Besides, the dish provides both protein and fiber, nutritious for a healthy meal. Hence, it is suitable to include the dish on our menu at weekend.

Separate leaves of the cabbage and wash them. Then, cut them into small pieces. Also, dice onion. Next, wash green onions and cut them into pieces. Peel shrimps, remove their head and split each shrimp along the middle of their back.


Cook the cabbage pieces until they become soft yet still crispy, and take them out. Next, marinate shrimps with 2 teaspoons of chopped onion, ¼ of a teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of seasoning, ¼ of a teaspoon of pepper, and 2 teaspoons of white sugar. Mix them well and let them rest in 10 minutes.


Heat up cooking oil in a pan and stir-fry onion. Add shrimps and 120 milliliters of chicken broth. Cook until the shrimps get cooked. Take the shrimps out without the onion.


Use the very pan and add a small amount of cooking oil and chicken broth, and cabbage to cook in 3 minutes. Next, add shrimps and green onion into the pan and cook them.


Take them out and have them served with cooked rice.
