- The kimchi juice is this liquid at the bottom of the kimchi container or package. However, if your kimchi is just new or not two weeks old enough, it will be challenging to get ¼ cup of kimchi juice. Instead, you can use 2 ½ tablespoons of kimchi juice combined with one tablespoon of gochujang.
