1 medium chicken
20 grams ginger
1 carrot
300 grams cauliflower
5 grams salt
10 milliliters soy sauce
5 milliliters dark soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
20 grams green onion
1 potato
½ of a bulb onion
½ of a lemon
3 grams pepper
10 milliliters red wine
15 milliliters honey
1 tablespoon butter

Honey baked chicken is very easy to cook and extremely delicious. Moreover, we can cook it for our family at weekend or small parties. Besides, the combination of the sweetness of honey and fruits will stimulate our taste much.

Wash chicken and remove its intestine. Also, cut other parts of the chicken as in the image. Then, use a fork to press the chicken so that the ingredients can be absorbed easily in the chicken meat.


Put the whole chicken in a large pot. Add salt and squeeze its body. Next, add ginger and green onion. After that, add oyster sauce, soy sauce, and pepper and then squeeze the whole chicken’s body gently, including its stomach. Wrap it by food wrapping and put it in the fridge overnight.


Place the chicken in a large pot and steam it in about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, wash cauliflowers, carrot, potato, and onion and then cut them into medium pieces.


Cook butter until it melts and then mix it with honey. Spread a kitchen foil onto the surface of the baking tray and put the chicken on it. Stuff the cut vegetables at step 3 into the stomach of the chicken. The left ones will be put on the baking tray. Next, place the chicken onto the vegetables and then pour evenly the sauce mixture onto the chicken.


Bake it in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius in about 40 minutes. After that, we can take it out and spread a layer of honey onto the surface of the chicken and continue to bake until its color turns orange.
