Fried dumplings with red beans – Crispy and delicious for breakfast

  • about 40 minutes
  • Serves 4
  • Easy

Directions

Fried dumplings with red beans are a “lifesaver” for breakfast or late-night snacks. The stuffing is filled with red beans instead of the typical mixture of pork and mushrooms, which sets this recipe apart from others. Moreover, the dumplings turn crispy when fried, creating another interesting texture to the dish.

Steps

1
Done

Sieve 220 grams of wheat flour and place it into the bowl. Add 2 grams of baking soda and 110 milliliters of water into the bowl and knead the dough. Then, let it rest in 30 minutes.

2
Done

Knead the dough again and use a roller to roll it. Then, roll it as shown in the picture. Then, cut it into 9 medium pieces and squeeze them gently.

3
Done

Divide the red beans stuffing into nine balls. Then, put each stuffing into the middle of the dough. Then, cover the stuffing and squeeze it gently as shown in the figure.

4
Done

Heat up cooking oil in a pan and fry the dumplings until their color turns yellow. Take them out and enjoy.
