Easy apple crisp recipe is a perfect match for lazy bakers. Imagine having all the beautiful flavors of an apple pie without having to spend too much time baking, sounds like a good deal, does it? An apple crisp also does not require many ingredients; you may have most of them already in your fridge. For some people, apple crisp does not ring a bell, as the apple pie is much more common. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius.
Prepare the baking tray and apply a thin layer of peanut butter.
Put 100 grams of almond powder, 100 grams of sugar, 70 grams of brown rice flour, 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, and ¼ of a teaspoon of salt in a large bowl and mix them. Add butter and mix again. Add 80 grams of almonds while still keep mixing.
Next, place the mixture on a baking tray, spread it evenly and let it rest in the refrigerator at the cool compartment for 20 minutes. After that, take it out to bake it in the oven for 12 - 15 minutes until its color becomes brown. Take it out and let it cool down.
Wash the apples and cut them into thin slices (no need to peel them).
Place them into a bowl, add 3 tablespoons of sugar syrup, 3 tablespoons of lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and mix them.
Then, put the apples in the baking tray to roast in the oven for 45 - 50 minutes
In the mean time, beat the heavy cream until it becomes smooth.
Add cream and apple crisps in the same bowl. To have a perfect bite, take the roasted apple slices, add the baked almonds and cream all in one spoon and enjoy.
