800 grams chicken wings
240 milliliters soy sauce
2 tablespoons chopped ginger
½ of a teaspoon Five-spice powder
½ of a teaspoon pepper
220 grams honey
200 milliliters Shaoxing wine
2 tablespoons chopped garlic
½ of a teaspoon salt

Barbecue chicken wings are so so many people’s all-time favorite menu items. Who doesn’t fancy a crispy chicken skin covering tender and heavy-marinated meat? If you couldn’t stop going back for them, well, you shouldn’t. Because here we are going to share one of the authentic bbq chicken wings with honey and Shaoxing wine. Appetizers, big game snacks, meals, there are always rooms for barbecue chicken wings.

Prepare the sauce: mix 240 milliliters of soy sauce, 200 milliliters of Shaoxing wine, 2 tablespoons of chopped ginger and garlic, ½ of a teaspoon of flour, 1/2 of a teaspoon of salt and ½ of a teaspoon of pepper in a large bowl.
Prepare the chicken: Wash the chicken wings with cold water. Then, mix the sauce with the chicken wings and put them into a zip pocket to marinate them for 2 hours.


After 2 hours, take the chicken wings out, and put them on the grill. While grilling, apply the remaining marinade sauce on the chicken wings and continue to grill and flip them sometimes (about every 5 minutes while checking the side regularly.
Grill until they are cooked with the brown color.


Take the chicken wings out, sprinkle sesame seeds and enjoy.
