Baked tofu cooked with chili sauce is an easy-to-make dish for our family. Instead of using fried tofu, we use baked tofu, reducing the amount of oil. Also, the dish is suitable on cold days when we have it served with cooked rice.

Turn on the stove at 200 degrees Celsius. Wash tofu and cut it into medium pieces. Take a clean towel over the tofu, then apply a heavy weight to it in about 15 minutes to remove water.


Add cornstarch in a large bowl and roll the tofu pieces into the bowl. Next, place them on a baking tray applied with a layer of parchment paper to bake in about 45 minutes. During the baking processing, when we bake them in about 20 minutes, take the tray out to turn the tofu pieces.


After that, take the tray out. Pour chili sauce into the pan and heat it up. Next, add honey and continue to stir-fry it finely. Then, add tofu pieces and stir-fry them well.
