300 grams bacon
100 milliliters coconut milk
½ of a teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon fish sauce
2 tablespoons cooking oil
100 grams fresh copra
½ of a teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon monosodium glutamate (MSG)

Bacon stewed with coconut recipe is an easy recipe to make a salty dish for our meal. Moreover, with the simple ingredients and quick preparation, we can cook it for our family on busy days. Especially, having it served with cooked rice is very ideal.

Wash bacon and cut it into medium pieces. Then, marinate them with pepper and salt in 10 minutes. After that, cut fresh copra into thin pieces.


Heat up cooking oil in a pan and add white sugar to cook with small fire until its color turns brown. Next, add bacon and copra pieces into the pan and stir-fry until the white sugar sauce becomes relatively condensed.


Pour coconut milk and add fish sauce and MSG into the pan to make the mixture tasty. Then, pour a small bowl of water and continue to cook until the sauce becomes condensed. Turn off the gas stove.


Take them out and have them served with cooked rice.
